In light of the ongoing recession, businesses and consumers have been holding off on the purchase of new computer systems; instead, they're turning increasingly to computer accessories as a means of supplementing the capabilities of the computers they already own. The us market will see little growth over the forecast period, according to next gen research, while emerging markets, especially China, will be fertile ground for these add on peripherals.
An aftermarket accessories category that stands out is gaming controllers; manufacturers report strong sales as consumers respond to the recession by turning to stay-at-home gaming as an alternative to more expensive out-of-home activities. Selling accessories for computers online is easier than selling the computers themselves. The internet has become a quick and convenient means of acquiring goods from the comfort of our homes, and these accessories have an impressive online market presence that can be successfully explored by online retailers.

As if the actual JOB is not hard enough for therapy professionals, add difficult patients or co-workers to the mix and you may have a recipe for disaster. Dealing with difficult behavior can often times take its toll on us emotionally, leaving us feeling beat up and spent. Does that sound familiar?
With all the training on policies and procedures, where is the training to help us deal with some of the most trying issues that people, who intentionally or not, maltreat and drain the life and the hope right out of us.Next time someone is tying you up in knots, consider these tips for handling difficult patients and co-workers:
At individual level, we often think that a single person can’t do any good for society, particularly at large scale level – that too with no external moral and physical support, inspiration and funding. However, there are people in this world who achieve the glory that hundreds of others can’t reach together. Master Ayub, one of those extraordinary examples, has been teaching un-privileged and poor children of Islamabad, Pakistan for last 25 years without receiving a single penny.
In 2002, there were 10,885 nurses who earned graduate degrees in nursing.
Also in 2002, there were 231 out of 33,625 applicants to medical schools who indicated that their undergraduate major was nursing. About half of these applicants or 16,488 matriculated that year. If nurses were accepted to medical school in the same proportion as everyone else, there would be 113 nurses that year entering medical school.
How many nurses are there? In the US, there are 2.9 million (2004 data) registered nurses, with 83% being employed in nursing. In Canada, there are 252,000 (2005 data) Registered Nurses and 65,000 licensed practice nurses.
Nearly 13% of US nurses (375,000) and 2.5% (6,300) of Canadian RNs and have earned masters or doctoral degrees. In the U.S. 40,000 hold doctoral degrees. There are 240,000 U.S. advanced practice nurses--140,000 nurse practitioners and 70,000 clinical nurse specialists (CNS). But only 1 in 6 CNSs are practicing as such due to the denursification of health care over the past decade and a half. The US has 33,000 nurse anesthetists and 14,000 nurse midwives. These four specialty groups are generally masters prepared or higher. Nurses employed in nursing make up 0.76% and 0.74% of the population in the US and Canada respectively.
In 2007 Cuba, there are reportedly 89,000 nurses -- 25,000 with BSNs and 300 with masters degrees.
The actual average annual earnings of US RNs employed full-time in 2004 was $57,784.
